NF and GA Hammer Mills are "overrunning" machines where the material is reduced on the breaker plates before being further reduced on the grates.
Williams’
NF and GA Hammer Mill models are particularly well suited to operations in which the feed should be thoroughly processed before reaching the discharge area. This is because the hammers against the heavy-duty breaker plates accomplish considerable reduction.
Features:
The cage bars (or grates) serve mainly to size the product. The cage occupies fully one-half of the hammer circle for a large discharge area and increased output.
There are two types of covers available, the ORC for average feeds and the LSP for larger feeds.
Both models are of extremely rugged construction, including heavy-duty bearings.
Metal traps are a standard feature.
